Riverside BMX Park
1845 Rogers Drive, Cambridge, N3H 5C6

Bike Park

The City of Cambridge created the bmx bike park within Riverside Park (the City's largest community park spanning some some 102 hectares). It's a $150,000 initiative that also includes funding support from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport through its "Healthy Community Fund".  The ministry grant helped to cover the design costs for the recreational project. Locally based IBI Group, which specializes in land-use planning and urban design, was selected to execute the design concepts created by City staff. Riverside Bike Park offers an advanced section along with an intermediate section and a pump track.   The area  Each section of the bmx park is identified through the use of signs.
Helmets MUST be worn in the Cambridge bike park, and elbow, knee, and wrist guards are strongly recommended.

In the event of rain the park may be closed for a minimum of 24 hours to ensure the park is not damaged through riding on wet surfaces.  The temporary closures due to rain are required to allow the track to dry out.
